Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes is day-to-day with a left knee sprain and did not practice on Tuesday, the team announced.
The 21-year-old is questionable for Toronto's game against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday.
In 16 games, the reigning Rookie of the Year has averaged 14.6 points, 6.8 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game for the Raptors this season.
Barnes briefly left Saturday's game against the Atlanta Hawks with a left ankle injury before returning and registering a near triple-double. He ended with 28 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists in the 124-122 overtime loss.
The Raptors expect that Chris Boucher and Gary Trent Jr. will be available against the Nets after the pair returned to practice on Monday. They missed the Hawks game with non-COVID illnesses.
Dalano Banton (ankle), Otto Porter Jr. (toe), Precious Achiuwa (ankle) and Pascal Siakam (groin) remain out as Toronto continues to deal with a rash of injuries.
