The Toronto Raptors will continue to take turns sitting players on Friday.
RJ Barrett and Ochai Agbaji have both been ruled out against the Charlotte Hornets due to rest, joining injured teammates Gradey Dick, Brandon Ingram, and Ulrich Chomche on the bench.
Chris Boucher was initially questionable due to illness however head coach Darko Rajakovic said he was available prior to the game. Two-way Jared Rhoden remains with the Raptors 905.
Both of the resting 24-year-olds are having career-best seasons. Barrett is averaging 21.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.6 assists – all career-highs – in 54 games.
Agbaji is averaging 10 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists – also all career-highs – in 59 games.
With Friday's absence, Barrett will have missed five of the Raptors' last 10 games.
