The Raptors will once again be shorthanded as they look to build on their first win of the season.

Toronto has ruled out forward RJ Barrett, guard Immanuel Quickley and centre Kelly Olynyk for Saturday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, head coach Darko Rajakovic announced.

Barrett was previously listed as questionable for the weekend outing.

Barrett, 24, has missed the first two games of the season with a shoulder sprain he suffered in pre-season. He has been practising with the team this week, ramping up from non-contact practice to more extensive workouts.

The Mississauga, Ont., native averaged 21.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 32 games with the Raptors last season after joining the team via trade from the New York Knicks.

Quickley, 25, suffered a pelvic injury in the team's opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday. He was undercut by Cavaliers guard Darius Garland when contesting a rebound late in the second quarter of last night's home opener.

He averaged 18.6 points, 6.8 assists and 4.8 rebounds over 38 games for the Raptors last season after being traded from the New York Knicks on Dec. 30.

Centre Kelly Olynyk (back) of Kamloops, B.C., small forward Bruce Brown (arthroscopic knee surgery), and rookie combo guard Ja'Kobe Walter (sprained shoulder) have yet to suit up this season and remain out.
