Toronto Raptors centre Khem Birch will be out on Monday against the Boston Celtics because of right knee swelling, while Gary Trent Jr. has been upgraded from questionable to available despite dealing with a toe injury.
Birch, who has had a lingering knee injury throughout the season, played 15 minutes in Toronto's win over the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night.
Birch is averaging 4.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game this season.
Birch has missed 26 games this season with an assortment of injuries.
Trent Jr. has been out the past three games.
