Toronto Raptors rookie forward Christian Koloko had a good reason to make his native Cameroon stay up late on a weeknight.
For the first time ever, two Cameroon natives started together for the same team.
Filling in for the injured Scottie Barnes, Koloko earned his first career start in the NBA. Koloko lined up alongside fellow country-mate Pascal Siakam, adding another first for his country.
Cameroon has had two player start at the same time in 30 NBA games but never on the same team.
Koloko also joined a select club of Raptors players on Monday night. The 22 year-old became only the fifth Raptor selected in the second round to start an NBA game.
