With Sunday's finale of the NBA regular season, the league's playoff picture is now set in stone.
Fans will be treated to multiple first-round series featuring division rivals, and compelling storylines can be found from the play-in tournament to the one seeds.
Let's take a look at the upcoming playoff matchups, starting with the Eastern Conference:
(4) Philadelphia 76ers vs. (5) Toronto Raptors
With the Boston Celtics defeating the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday night, they claim the conference's No. 2 seed, which means the Raptors will face division rival 76ers for the third time in the post-season.
The last time these two teams matched up in the playoffs, former Raptor Kawhi Leonard hit a buzzer-beating midrange shot in Game 7 to send Toronto to the 2019 Eastern Conference Finals.
The Raptors head into the post-season on a hot streak that began with a five-game winning streak out west in early March. They've won 14 of 18 games since then, the best record in the league during that stretch.
The Raptors hold a 3-1 record against the 76ers this season, winning their most recent matchup on Apr. 7 in a 119-114 victory.
Though the Raptors come into the playoffs on a high note and have won their last two meetings against their first-round opponent, some NBA pundits aren't giving the team a chance to win the series.
Philadelphia's elite defender Matisse Thybulle, who was ruled ineligible to play in Toronto on Thursday, also won't be able to play in Games 3 and 4 at Scotiabank Arena, Sixers coach Doc Rivers told reporters on Sunday because of his vaccination status.
The Raptors' roster is fully vaccinated, meaning each player will be able to play games in Philadelphia.
The best-of-seven series will begin in Philadelphia on Saturday at 6 p.m. ET.
(3) Milwaukee Bucks vs. (6) Chicago Bulls
The conference's second first-round divisional matchup features the reigning NBA champion Bucks and the Bulls.
Milwaukee swept the season series, winning all four games against Chicago in the regular season.
The Bulls are stumbling into the postseason, having lost four of their last five and six of their last 10.
Two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo averaged 29.9 points, 11.6 rebounds and 5.8 assists in the Bucks' 2020-21 championship run.
The best-of-seven series will begin in Milwaukee on Sunday.
(2) Boston Celtics vs. Brooklyn Nets/Cleveland Cavaliers
The Celtics have been one of the hottest teams in the league over second half of the season. After their win against the Grizzlies, the team has a record of 26-6 over their final 32 contests.
They await the winner of the first Eastern Conference play-in game between the Cavaliers and Nets.
The best-of-seven series will begin in Boston on Sunday.
(1) Miami Heat vs. TBD
The Heat are the East's team with the most uncertainty surrounding their first-round opponent. They play the winner of the conference's third play-in game, which could be one of the four participating teams.
Miami registered the league's fourth best home record (29-12) and will look to use their home-court advantage throughout the playoffs.
The best-of-seven series will begin in Miami on Sunday.
And now moving to the Western Conference:
(4) Dallas Mavericks vs. (5) Utah Jazz
The best-of-seven series will begin in Dallas on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET.
(3) Golden State Warriors vs. (6) Denver Nuggets
The best-of-seven series will begin in Golden State on Saturday at 8:30 p.m ET.
(2) Memphis Grizzlies vs. Minnesota Timberwolves/Los Angeles Clippers
The best-of-seven series will begin in Memphis on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
(1) Phoenix Suns vs. TBD
The best-of-seven series will begin in Phoenix on Sunday.
Although the overall playoff picture is set, not all first-round matchups can be determined without the completion of the league's play-in tournament. Here is how the competition will stack up in the East:
(8) Cleveland Cavaliers at (7) Brooklyn Nets - Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET.
(10) Charlotte Hornets at (9) Atlanta Hawks - Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET.
And in the West:
(8) Los Angeles Clippers at (7) Minnesota Timberwolves - Tuesday at 9:30 ET.
(10) San Antonio Spurs at (9) New Orleans Pelicans - Wednesday at 9:30 ET.
