The Toronto Raptors opened their Summer League campaign with a bit of revenge by thumping the Philadelphia 76ers 97-77 Saturday in Las Vegas.
The Raptors trailed by three at halftime and surged in the second half, taking a one-point lead after the third quarter and pulling away with a 26-7 advantage during the final frame.
Armoni Brooks led the way off of the bench with 25 points and seven rebounds while starting guard Dalano Banton had 21 points and seven boards.
Jeff Dowtin came close to recording a double-double with 13 points and nine assists while 2022 second-round pick Christian Koloko also hit double digits in points with 12.
Free-agent signee Otto Porter Jr. was among the Raptors players sitting courtside for the game.
Philadelphia eliminated Toronto in six games during the first round of the playoffs this past season.
Featuring primarily rookies, sophomores and G League affiliate players, Toronto's next Summer League game is Tuesday against the Chicago Bulls.
