After a six-game absence, Toronto Raptors guard Gary Trent Jr. will make his return Friday night against the Washington Wizards.

Trent Jr. (ankle swelling) last played on Jan. 7 in a 122-108 win over the Utah Jazz. The 23-year-old is averaging 16.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 33 games.

The Raptors starter is Toronto's fourth-highest scoring player and his 1.9 steals per game is tied for third in the NBA.

The Raptors (21-21) are 10th in the Eastern Conference, half a game back of the eighth-place Wizards (23-22).
