Gradey Dick's Sunday night ended early.
The sophomore guard exited just before halftime as the Toronto Raptors took on the Magic in Orlando.
Dick took a hard spill in the final minute of the first half after a falling RJ Barrett collided with Magic guard Cole Anthony, who then fell into the 22-year-old Raptors guard. He stayed down for a bit and was tended to by team staff before getting up and walking to the locker rooms on his own accord.
He did not return to the court after halftime and was later ruled out by the team, per the broadcast.
After the game, head coach Darko Rajakovic told reporters that the second-year wing had passed concussion protocol but had suffered some hyperextension on his knee, a "sit-bone contusion," and a split lip.
He did not provide a timeline or designation.
Dick is averaging 14.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists through 53 games played this season. He's also shooting 35 per cent from beyond the arc. He ranks fifth amongst sophomores in scoring and fourth in three-point attempts per game.
The Kansas product was drafted 13th overall by the Raptors in 2024.
Rookie guard Ja'Kobe Walter started the second half in place of Dick.
