The Toronto Raptors will be missing one of their key shooters for the second half of a back-to-back.
Gradey Dick will be out with a left calf strain on Monday against the Detroit Pistons, according to the injury report.
Dick went to the locker room with left calf soreness on Sunday in the fourth quarter of a loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The second-year guard had played 30 minutes, scoring 18 points on 6-of-17 shooting, grabbing four rebounds and knocking down three 3-pointers before leaving.
Pre-game, before taking on the Pistons on Monday, head coach Darko Rajakovic told reporters that Dick is considered day-to-day and he may not suit up during the team's next three games on the road.
Rajakovic also mentioned that the 21-year-old's injury is part of the reason why the Raptors recalled rookie Ja'Kobe Walter to the NBA. The 19th overall pick by Toronto this past Draft was on assignment with the Raptors 905 for two games before the team called him back up on Monday.
Dick is averaging 18.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game on 41.7 per-cent shooting from the field.
Toronto also will not have Bruce Brown (reconditioning), who is getting closer to making his season debut after off-season knee surgery.
Pistons star Cade Cunningham (hip) is out as well.
