The 4-14 Toronto Raptors are taking a cautious approach when it comes to Gradey Dick's injury.
The Raptors' sharpshooter will miss his second consecutive game on Wednesday against the New Orleans Pelicans as he recovers from a calf contusion, the team announced on Tuesday.
Dick went to the locker room with left calf soreness on Sunday in the fourth quarter of a loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The second-year guard had played 30 minutes, scoring 18 points on 6-of-17 shooting, grabbing four rebounds and knocking down three triples before leaving.
Dick is averaging 18.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game on 41.7 per cent shooting from the field.
Head coach Darko Rajakovic told reporters on Monday that Dick is considered day-to-day and may not play until the team returns back to Toronto from its current road trip.
The Raptors will also be without Immanuel Quickley (elbow), Bruce Brown (knee) and Kelly Olynyk (back).
