The Toronto Raptors have ruled out Pascal Siakam for Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers because of back spasms, Sportsnet's Michael Grange reports.
Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic said Siakam's back started to act up in the morning after he took a hard fall against the Los Angeles Lakers the night before. The team decided to hold Siakam out for precautionary reasons.
Dennis Schroder will start in Siakam's place in the lineup while Thaddeus Young will remain in the starting centre role with Jakob Poeltl sidelined with an ankle injury.
Siakam scored 25 points while adding four rebounds, three assists and a block. In 37 games, Siakam is averaging 22.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and five assists.
Otto Porter Jr., and Christian Koloko also remain out of the lineup for the Raptors.
