Raptors' Lowry out vs. Heat with toe infection, Siakam to play

Toronto Raptors star Kyle Lowry will not play against the Miami Heat on Friday night due to a toe infection on his right foot.

Lowry’s teammate, Pascal Siakam, who had been listed as “questionable” with a left groin injury, will play.

Norman Powell will reportedly get the start in place of Lowry, who head coach Nick Nurse said he hopes will be able to suit up for Sunday’s game against the Indiana Pacers.

As has been the case all season, Patrick McCaw (left knee) will also be sidelined. For Miami, they’ll be missing star Jimmy Butler (health and safety protocols), Meyers Leonard (left shoulder strain), Avery Bradley (health and safety protocols) and Tyler Herro (neck spasms).
