Raptors' Poeltl, Quickley out for rest against Nets

The Toronto Raptors' roster flux will continue on Wednesday.

Jakob Poeltl and Immanuel Quickley were both ruled out of a game against the Brooklyn Nets due to rest, joining injured teammates Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, Chris Bouche and Ulrich Chomche on the sidelines.

Poeltl and Quickly have only played intermittently down the stretch as the lottery-bound team attempts to manage their health. Both players have battled multiple injuries on the season.

Wednesday's game against the Nets (23-29) is an important one for the reverse standings, as the Raptors (25-47) could take a step toward improving their lottery odds with a loss.

Poeltl, 29, has appeared in 54 games on the season, recording averages of 14.4 points and 9.6 rebounds per game.

Quickley, 25, dealt with myriad injuries during the first half of the season, but has begun to show flashes amid renewed health since the all-star break.

The Kentucky product is putting up 17.4 points and 5.7 assists per game on the season.
