Toronto Raptors forward Precious Achiuwa will be out indefinitely after an MRI revealed partially torn ligaments in his right ankle.
The team said he will be in a walking boot for 10 days and his status will be updated as time goes on.
This comes after Achiuwa was helped off the floor in Toronto’s 116-109 victory over Houston Wednesday night.
Achiuwa is averaging 8.8 points, 7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game this season. He has recorded a double-double twice already and leaves the Raptors even more thin on the frontline as star forward Pascal Siakam is out as well with an injury for the next couple of weeks.
