Raptors' Quickley, Olynyk, Dick and Shead questionable vs. Bulls

The Toronto Raptors may have to juggle their lineup around as they try to build on their five-game win streak.

Gradey Dick (illness), Immanuel Quickley (hip), Jamal Shead (illness) and Kelly Olynyk (calf) have all been listed as questionable ahead of Friday's game against the Chicago Bulls, the team announced Thursday.

Dick was a late addition to the injury report on Wednesday. The sophomore guard has enjoyed a nice breakout campaign for Toronto, starting all 40 of his appearances while averaging 15.7 points and shooting nearly 35 per cent from three. He was named to the NBA Rising Stars roster on Tuesday and will make an appearance at NBA All-Star weekend in San Francisco.

Olynyk has missed the past three games with a calf strain. He made 21 appearances for his hometown Raptors this season, averaging 7.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists while shooting 48.6 per cent from beyond the arc.

Quickley, meanwhile, has missed the team's last eight games with a left hip strain. The 25-year-old has dealt with a variety of injuries this season, causing him to miss 38 games. He's averaging 16.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 6.1 assists.

Shead has suited up for the Raptors' last 16 games and is averaging 5.4 points, 1.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists in his rookie season.

The Raptors are in the midst of a five-game winning streak — their longest since the 2021-22 season — and find themselves as the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 15-32 record. Watch as they take on the 10th-place Bulls at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. ET on Sportsnet ONE or Sportsnet+.
