The Toronto Raptors have ruled out Scottie Barnes for their rematch against the Miami Heat. The forward is listed as day-to-day with a right ankle sprain.
Rookie Christian Koloko will fill in for Barnes. After playing from the bench in his first three regular season games, the 2022 second-round pick will make his first career NBA start.
In a 112-109 loss against those same Heat on Saturday, Barnes awkwardly fell onto Tyler Herro following a dunk. Barnes was listed as a game-time decision earlier on Monday but will sit a game out for the first time this season.
Chris Boucher (left hamstring strain) will play, while Otto Porter Jr. (left hamstring strain) remains out.
Both players have missed the first three games of the season.
Watch the Raptors-Heat game on Monday on Sportsnet and SN SNOW starting at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT.
