Raptors sign forward Jamison Battle to Exhibit 10 contract

The Toronto Raptors are adding some shooting and size.

Toronto announced Tuesday that it has signed forward Jamison Battle. Per team policy, the financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

According to Sportsnet's Blake Murphy, the contract is an Exhibit 10 deal, which will allow him to compete for a spot in training camp.

Battle, 23, spent the 2023-24 season at Ohio State, averaging 15.3 points and 5.2 rebounds while shooting 46.9 per cent from the field and 43.3 per cent from three.

The six-foot-seven, 220-pound Battle hails from Robbinsdale, Minn. and played at George Washington and Minnesota before finishing his college career with the Buckeyes.

Battle has been playing with the Raptors' Summer League team, scoring 23 points over the team's two games, knocking down five triples on eight attempts.
