The Toronto Raptors have signed forward Justin Champagnie to a multi-year contract, the team announced Thursday.
The Raptors, in accordance with their team policy, did not disclose the financial terms of the deal. However, according to Sportsnet's Blake Murphy, the contract is for two years at the league-minimum salary with a partial guarantee in Year 1.
After playing two collegiate seasons in Pittsburgh, where he made history as the first player at the school to have ever led the team in scoring as both a freshman and a sophomore, Champagnie signed a two-way contract with the Raptors last summer.
In 36 games as a rookie with Toronto last season, he averaged 2.3 points and two rebounds in 7.8 minutes per night.
The Raptors also announced the signing of Ron Harper Jr. to a two-way contract.
The undrafted rookie from Rutgers is part of the Raptors' Summer League roster. Harper scored eight points and picked up six rebounds in Wednesday's 80-74 Raptors win over the Jazz.
