A.J. Hoggard's time under contract with the Toronto Raptors was short-lived.
Hoggard has signed an Exhibit 10/camp deal with the Raptors, but was waived by the team shortly after, it was announced Thursday.
Hoggard, 25, spent the 2025-26 season with the Raptors 905, Toronto's G League affiliate. He averaged 9.4 points, 1.9 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 20.2 minutes a night over 43 games.
The Coatesville, Pennsylvania, native originally signed with the New Orleans Pelicans for the 2025 Summer League, but joined the Raptors for G League action. He had previously spent five years in the NCAA, wrapping up his collegiate career with Vanderbilt in the 2024-25 campaign.
