The Toronto Raptors have signed guard/forward Joe Wieskamp to a 10-day contract, the club announced Saturday.
Wieskamp has played in 11 games with the G League's Wisconsin Herd this season averaging 17 points, 6.0 rebounds and is shooting .494 (79-160) from the field.
The 23-year-old from Muscatine, Iowa, was drafted in the second round by San Antonio in 2021 and played 29 games with the Spurs last season averaging 2.1 points and 7.1 minutes. Wieskamp also appeared in 13 games in the G League with the Austin Spurs averaging 15.3 points and 3.8 rebounds.
He re-signed with San Antonio last summer but was waived by the club in October.
The Raptors (16-23) are 12th in the Eastern Conference and lost their third straight game Friday night falling 112-108 to the New York Knicks. Toronto next plays host to the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday.
