The Toronto Raptors lost some veteran experience to an injury in Game 1 against the Philadelphia 76er on Saturday.
Thaddeus Young left the game with a thumb sprain and will not return, the Raptors announced.
Young was limited to only six minutes in the game before his injury, collecting a single rebound.
The Raptors acquired Young from the Spurs at the NBA trade deadline.
