The Toronto Raptors are waiving guard Armoni Brooks, Sportsnet's Blake Murphy reported Saturday.
According to Murphy, Brooks' contract was scheduled to increase in guarantee on Monday.
The 24-year-old from Waco, Texas, averaged 5.3 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 53 games last season split between the Houston Rockets and Raptors.
After being waived by Houston on Feb. 10, Brooks signed a 10-day contract to join Toronto on March 6.
Brooks inked a second 10-day contract before agreeing to a two-year deal on March 26.
