The Toronto Raptors won't have Fred VanVleet, Scottie Barnes or Dalano Banton in the lineup against the Brooklyn Nets.
VanVleet was ruled out because of a non-covid illness. It is not the first time the Raptors point guard has been sidelined with an illness after he missed two straight games earlier in November.
Barnes missed practice on Tuesday with a left knee sprain and was questionable against the Nets. In 16 games, the reigning Rookie of the Year has averaged 14.6 points, 6.8 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game for the Raptors this season.
Banton suffered a left ankle sprain against the Miami Heat back on Nov. 16 and has been sidelined since. In 14 games this season, the Canadian is averaging 6.5 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists on 45.8 per cent shooting.
