The Toronto Raptors have opened up a two-way slot on their roster.
After signing a two-way contract with the Raptors in March, guard DJ Carton has been waived, the team announced Tuesday.
The 24-year-old played eight games with the Raptors through this season and last, averaging 1.8 points, 1.0 rebounds and 8.6 minutes.
Carton has flashed potential, but has struggled to stay on the floor due to foot and ankle issues.
Toronto's roster now has 15 spots filled and two, two-way players.
