James Harden might not be getting traded out of Philadelphia after all.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the 76ers have reportedly ended the trade talks surrounding Harden and are now planning to bring him back for training camp to start off the 2023-24 season.
Despite previous reports that the 33-year-old guard had requested a trade this off-season and that the 76ers had been in talks with the Los Angeles Clippers, Wojnarowski claims "no traction on a deal materialized."
Harden, who picked up his $35.6 million contract option in June, has been with Philadelphia for the past two seasons. Over 58 regular-season games in 2022-23, he averaged 21.0 points, 7.0 assists and 5.6 rebounds.
