Two-time all-star centre Andre Drummond is finalizing a two-year, $6.6 million deal with the Chicago Bulls, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The second year of the contract is a player option, Wojnarowski reports.
The former highly-touted high school prospect was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the ninth pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. Drummond would go on to earn all-star honours in the 2015-16 and 2017-18 seasons.
The 28-year-old registered 7.9 points, 9.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 73 games during the 2021-22 season with both the Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets.
Drummond has been a double-double machine during the course of his career, averaging 13.8 points and 13.3 rebounds in his 10 NBA seasons.
