The Washington Wizards and Bradley Beal have agreed work together on trade scenarios if the team decides to deal the three-time all-star, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and The Athletic's Shams Charania reported Wednesday.
Beal has a no-trade clause on a five-year, $251-million deal, which has four years left. The Wizards could look to deal Beal if they decide to rebuild.
Beal has played his entire 11-year career with the Wizards.
The guard averaged 23.2 points on a career-best 50.6 per-cent shooting from the field last season as the Wizards missed the playoffs for the fourth time in five years. He played only 50 games as Beal battled a few injuries.
Beal averaged more than 30 points in back-to-back seasons from 2019-21.
