Canada's Olivier-Maxence Prosper has received an invitation to go to the green room with his family for Thursday's NBA Draft, ESPN's Jonathan Givony reported Tuesday.
The move signals that Prosper's stock has risen in recent weeks.
The Montreal native is now projected to go 20th overall to the Houston Rockets in ESPN's mock draft.
The six-foot-eight power forward averaged 12.5 points and 4.7 rebounds and showed promise as a shooter this season at Marquette, with his three-point percentages improving from 31.7 per cent in 2021-22 to 34.9 per cent in 2022-23 on a higher shot volume.
Prosper is close friends with fellow Montrealer Bennedict Mathurin, who was picked sixth overall by the Indiana Pacers in last year's draft and went on to earn first-team all-rookie honours.
Prosper and Mathurin played together at the NBA’s Latin American Academy.
