The Boston Celtics are signing guard Joe Johnson to a 10-day contract using the league’s hardship exemption.
Johnson hasn’t played in the NBA since suiting up for the Houston Rockets in 2018. The University of Arkansas product was the Celtics’ first round draft selection (10th overall) in 2001.
The seven-time All-Star has averaged 16 points and four rebounds in 1,276 total games played during his NBA career.
