Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard was diagnosed with a torn meniscus in his right knee, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Leonard was shut down after Game 2 of the Clippers' first round series with the Phoenix Suns, severely impeding L.A.'s chances of advancing.
Leonard dropped 38 points in the Clippers' 115-110 win in Game 1, their only win as the Suns came back to take the series in five games.
The former Raptor also suffered a torn ACL in his right knee, during the 2021 NBA Playoffs. As a result, Leonard missed out on the entire 2021-22 season.
