The Los Angeles Clippers have converted Canadian Josh Primo’s two-way contract to a standard NBA deal, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported Monday.

The Clippers signed Primo to a two-way deal in September after he was suspended four games for conduct detrimental to the league.

A psychologist who worked for the San Antonio Spurs filed a lawsuit last November alleging Primo, who played for the team at the time, had exposed himself to her multiple times in private sessions. The lawsuit was settled days later.

The NBA said they “found that Primo engaged in inappropriate and offensive behavior by exposing himself to women.

“Primo maintains that his conduct was not intentional, and the league did not find evidence that he engaged in any sexual or other misconduct apart from these brief exposures. Nevertheless, this behaviour does not conform to league standards and warrants discipline.”

Following the allegation, the former No. 12 overall pick released a statement to ESPN saying that he has “been seeking help to deal with previous trauma I suffered and will now take this time to focus on my mental health treatment more fully. I hope to be able to discuss these issues in the future so I can help others who have suffered in a similar way. I appreciate privacy at this time.”

Primo, 20, hasn’t played in the NBA since the Spurs waived him on Oct. 28, 2022.
