Los Angeles Clippers centre Serge Ibaka is reportedly expected to miss Friday night's Game 3 against the Dallas Mavericks with a lingering back issue, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Ibaka, who won a championship with the Toronto Raptors in 2019, played 12 minutes in Game 1 and only five minutes in Game 2. The 31-year-old missed 30 consecutive games between March 14 and May 14 earlier this season with a back injury.

The No. 4 Western Conference seed Clippers are down 0-2 in the series after two losses to the No. 5 Mavericks at home.

After leaving the Raptors last off-season, Ibaka averaged 11.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in his first season with the Clippers.
