Philadelphia 76ers centre Joel Embiid won’t travel for Games 1 and 2 in Miami, but there is optimism that he could return as soon Game 3 or 4, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Embiid would have to clear concussion protocols and visit a doctor mid-week in order to return.

The 76ers star suffered an orbital fracture and mild concussion in Game 6 against the Toronto Raptors in their first-round series. He appeared to suffer the injuries when Pascal Siakam accidentally elbowed Embiid.
