Max Strus is ready to play his first game of the season.
After a suffering a right ankle sprain, Strus is expected to return for the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday against the Washington Wizards, ESPN's Shams Charania reported on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old was injured in an individual workout just before the start of the NBA season.
Strus also missed two pre-season games in October with an unrelated right hip contusion before hurting his ankle.
Last season, he started in all of the 70 games he played and averaged 12.2 points, with 4.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists.
This season marks Stus' second in Cleveland after being traded by the Miami Heat in the 2023 off-season.
