Miami Heat guard Victor Oladipo could return to play next season, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Oladipo suffered a torn patellar tendon in his left knee on Saturday. The injury came in Game 3 of Miami's series with Milwaukee.
Charania says sources have indicated that Oladipo could resume basketball activities within six months before returning to action. He is set to undergo surgery this week. There was concerns initially that Oladipo's status for next season would be in jeopardy.
This is the third major surgery Oladipo will have in just over four years, the previous two coming after a quadriceps injury over his right knee.
