The Charlotte Hornets and superstar point guard LaMelo Ball have reportedly agreed to a five-year, $260-million max contract.
Ball was entering the final year of his rookie deal.
The soon-to-be 22-year-old was limited to just 36 games last season due to a fractured ankle that required surgery. Before the injury, the former second-overall pick was averaging 23.3 points, 8.4 assists and 6.4 rebounds.
Ball has appeared in 162 NBA games over the past three seasons.
