The Charlotte Hornets could be getting their All-Star point guard back.
ESPN Insider's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that LaMelo Ball, who has missed the last 20 games with an ankle sprain, is expected to return against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday.
Ball had recently been upgraded to questionable after being out of action since Nov. 26. He participated in morning shoot-around on Friday.
The Hornets (8-27) have lost 14 of their last 15 games in a season plagued by injuries. The former Rookie of the Year averaged 24.7 points, 8.2 assists and 1.4 steals in 15 games for the Hornets this season.
