Report: Jahlil Okafor agrees to two-year deal with Pistons

Free-agent centre Jahlil Okafor has agreed to a two-year deal with the Detroit Pistons, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The deal comes soon after it was reported that the Pistons have also added centre Mason Plumlee on three-year, $25-million deal.

The six-foot-ten, 270-pound big man averaged 8.1 points and 4.2 rebounds in 15.6 minutes per game with the Pelicans last season, his second in New Orleans.

Okafor, 24, who was drafted third overall in the 2015 NBA Draft, has put up career averages of 11.0 points and 5.0 rebounds over the course of five years in the NBA with time also spent in Brooklyn and Philadelphia.
