The New York Knicks and guard Josh Hart are finalizing a four-year, $81 million extension, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Wednesday.
The deal will keep Hart in New York through the 2027-28 season.
Hart, who is a member of Team USA for the upcoming FIBA World Cup, sat out of Monday's exhibition game as both parties worked on an extension.
Wojnarowski reports that once the extension is finalized, Hart is expected to resume his participation with Team USA.
At this year's trade deadline, the Knicks acquired Hart from the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Cam Reddish and a lottery-protected first-round pick in 2023.
In 25 games with the Knicks, Hart averaged 10.2 points and seven rebounds per contest.
