Luka Doncic is expected to play in Game 4 for the Dallas Mavericks against the Los Angeles Clippers despite dealing with a neck strain, according to ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 22-year-old started experiencing pain in his neck that went down his left arm at around halftime during Game 3 Friday night. Doncic was listed as questionable heading into Sunday with a cervical strain.
“It’s just weird,” Doncic said after the game. “Just some massage, some ice and hopefully it will be good.”
Doncic has averaged 38.0 points, 8.7 rebounds and 9.0 assists in the series, with Dallas outscoring Los Angeles by 25 points in 117 minutes with Doncic on the court and having been outscored by 19 in the 27 minutes when he’s been on the bench.
On the other side of the court, Clippers forward Serge Ibaka is expected to miss his second straight contest with a back injury.

Ibaka averaged 11.1 points per game in 41 regular-season appearances this season.
The Mavericks lead the Clippers 2-1 in their seven-game series. Sunday’s Game 4 is set for 9:30 ET on Sportsnet ONE.
