• Report: Mavericks' Maxi Kleber breaks foot vs. Celtics

The Dallas Mavericks appear to have lost yet another big piece of their lineup.

Forward Maxi Kleber has broken his right foot and will miss an extended period of time, ESPN's Shams Charania and Tim MacMahon reported Saturday.

Kleber left in the third quarter of the Mavericks' loss to the Boston Celtics, finishing with one rebound, one assist and one block in 11 minutes.

The six-foot-10 German is averaging 3.1 points and 2.8 rebounds in 33 games this season.

The news comes two days after the Mavericks announced centre Derrick Lively II fractured his right ankle, which he will be re-evaluated in four weeks.

The Mavericks (24-22) are ninth in the Western Conference and will take on the Washington Wizards in their next contest on Jan. 27.
