Brooklyn Nets star James Harden “plans to play” in Tuesday’s Game 5 against the Milwaukee Bucks, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Harden has reportedly been upgraded from doubtful to questionable ahead of the pivotal matchup in Brooklyn and will take the court barring a pre-game setback.
Both Harden and Kyrie Irving were ruled out of Game 5 by the Nets on Monday, but an improvement to Harden’s hamstring injury during shoot-around has led to the upgrade in his status.
Harden hasn’t played since Game 1 of the series when he was on the court for just 43 seconds before suffering the injury. Irving is dealing with a sprained right ankle he suffered in Game 4.
The Nets won the first two games of the series against Milwaukee before dropping the last two as the Bucks evened it up at two apiece.
