There's another Jokic in town.
Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic is slated to return from a nearly two-week personal absence Friday after his partner gave birth to a son a day earlier, ESPN's Shams Charania reported.
The elder Jokic left the Nuggets after their Nov. 10 win over the Dallas Mavericks. Denver has won just one of three games since.
In 10 games this season, Jokic leads the league in three-point percentage (.564), rebounds per game (13.7) and assists per game (11.7).
The Nuggets had won five straight games and seven in eight before Jokic's absence.
