Report: Nuggets' Nikola Jokic named NBA MVP for 2020-21 season

Denver Nuggets centre Nikola Jokic has won the NBA MVP for the 2020-21 season, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

Jokic, 26, beat out Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry and Philadelphia 76ers centre Joel Embiid for the award.

The Nuggets' big man averaged 26.4 points, 10.8 rebounds and 8.3 assists on 56.6 per cent shooting and 38.8 per cent from three-point range in 72 games during the regular season.
