Detroit Pistons star guard Cade Cunningham has reportedly avoided any serious injury to his left knee but could still miss at least a few games, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Cunningham, 22, suffered a left knee strain during the Pistons' 131-114 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Sunday, leaving midway through the second quarter.
The 2021 first overall pick has appeared in all 36 games for Detroit this season, averaging 22.8 points, 7.3 assists and 4.1 rebounds while the team has gone 3-33.
He missed all but 12 games last season due to a left shin fracture that forced him to have season-ending surgery in December 2022.
Cunningham has already been ruled out for the Pistons' game on Tuesday against the Sacramento Kings.
