The Toronto Raptors plan to sign guard Brandon Goodwin and forward Juwan Morgan to 10-day contracts using the league’s hardship exemption, sources tell The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Hardship exemptions allow teams in need of replacements to exceed the usual 15-man roster limit to temporarily add players on 10-day deals.
Goodwin is currently averaging 15.3 points and 7.9 assists in seven games played this season for the Westchester Knicks of the NBA G League.
Morgan is averaging 12.6 points and 7.0 rebounds in 13 games with the G League’s Maine Celtics.
