The Toronto Raptors are reportedly signing forward Ishmail Wainright to a two-year deal, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Wainright, who most recently played in Europe with SIG Strasbourg, played four years of college basketball with Baylor, too.
The 26-year-old averaged 11.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game during his time in France.
During his Baylor tenure, Wainright never eclipsed six points per game but earned his place on the court with his defensive impact, earning an All-Defensive team selection.
Wainright will be joining the Raptors’ summer league team, according to Blake Murphy of The Athletic.
