The Phoenix Suns are acquiring guard Landry Shamet from the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for Jevon Carter and the 29th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, according to ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Shamet, 24, averaged 9.3 points on .408/.387/.846 shooting over 61 games with the Nets last season. He enters his fourth NBA season having already played for three teams: the Philadelphia 76ers, the Los Angeles Clippers and the Nets.
Carter averaged 4.1 points in 12.0 minutes during the regular season and played a total of 22 minutes over the course of Phoenix’s NBA Finals run.
