Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul plans to return Wednesday against the Boston Celtics after missing more than a month with a heel injury, Chris Haynes of TNT reports.
The point guard was listed as questionable on Tuesday after missing the past 14 games.
Paul is averaging 9.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 9.5 assists in 10 games this season for the Suns (16-8).
Paul led the Suns in his first season with the club in 2020-21 and then helped the team post the NBA's best regular-season record last year.
Meanwhile, the Celtics say Al Horford (health and safety protocols) is out.
Malcolm Brogdon is listed as available after missing Monday's game against the Toronto Raptors with an illness.
The Suns lead the Western Conference standings this season, while the Celtics (20-5) have the best record in the NBA.
